TDI Rebreather Cavern Diver
This course is designed to develop the minimum skills and knowledge for diving a TDI approved rebreather in cavern and overhead environments within the limits of light penetration; in addition, outline specific hazards associated with rebreather cave diving. The Rebreather Cavern course is not intended to provide instruction for diving in cave environments. The objective of this course is to train divers in the proper planning, procedures, techniques and hazards of rebreather cavern diving.
Course Pre-requisite
- At least 18 years old 
- TDI Air Diluent CCR Diver or equivalent 
- 25 CCR Dives and 25 hours on the CCR unit 
Course Components
- Knowledge Development with Written Exam 
- Dry Skills Development 
- Confined Water Skills Development 
- 5 CCR Cavern Dives with a total bottom time of 120 minutes at 2 different sites 
Course Equipment
- TDI approved CCR 
- Dive Computer with depth gauge and bottom timer 
- Line Cutting Device 
- 1 Primary and Safety Reel 
- Primary and Back-up Lights 
- 3 Directional line Arrows 
- Bailout Regulators with 1 first and second stage and pressure gauge as required
