TDI Air Diluent CCR Decompression Procedures Diver
This is the second level certification course for divers wishing to utilize a closed circuit rebreather (CCR) for air diving. The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving a CCR and to develop basic CCR diving skills to a maximum depth of 40 metres / 130 feet using an air diluent for formal decompression diving.
Course Pre-requisite
- At least 18 years old 
- TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and TDI Decompression Procedures Diver or equivalent 
- TDI Sidemount Diver (if rebreather is a sidemount rebreather) 
- 50 Open Water Dives or 10 CCR Dives (if doing a unit crossover) - OR 
- TDI Air Diluent CCR Diver or equivalent 
- 30 CCR Dives and 30 hours on the CCR unit 
- 6 months CCR Diving Experience 
Course Components
- Knowledge Development with Written Exam 
- Dry Skills Development 
- Confined Water Skills Development 
- 7 CCR Dives with a total runtime of 420 minutes down to 40m 
Course Equipment
- TDI approved CCR 
- Dive Computer with depth gauge and bottom timer 
- SMB 
- Spool or Reel of minimum 40m 
- Bailout Regulators with 1 first and second stage and pressure gauge as required
