Course Pre-requisite

• At least 18 years old

• 50 Dives that requires staged decompression

• 30 hours on the applicable unit

• SSI Enriched Air Nitrox or equivalent

• SSI Deep Diving or equivalent

• SSI XR Extended Range Nitrox Diving OR SSI XR CCR Diving or equivalent

Course Equipment

• CE Approved CCR Unit

• 1 Bailout Cylinder with Regulator and Inflator Hose

• Back-up OC/CCR Computer

• SMBs with Spool/Reel for appropriate depths

• Back-up Mask

• Cutting Device

Course Components

• Knowledge Development with Written Exam

• Unit Specific Written Exam

• SSI XR Water Fitness Evaluation

• Confined Water Skills Development

• 6 Open Water Training Dives, with at least 480 minutes runtime on the CCR Unit

Course Options

- Upgrading from SSI XR CCR Diving

• At least 1 additional Confined Water Skills Development and 2 Open Water Training Dives

- Upgrading to SSI XR CCR Extended Range Trimix Diving

• Complete SSI XR CCR Extended Range Trimix Knowledge Development and Written Exam

• 2 additional Open Water Training Dives
