Course Pre-requisite for Open Circuit Cavern

• At least 18 years old

• 50 Open Water Dives

• SSI Enriched Air Nitrox or equivalent

• SSI Diver Stress & Rescue or equivalent

• SSI XR Cavern Diving or equivalent

• SSI XR Sidemount Diving or equivalent (if doing the course in sidemount)

Course Pre-requisite for Closed-Circuit Cavern

• At least 18 years old

• 35 CCR Dives, of which 50 hours on the applicable unit

• 50 Open Water Dives

• SSI Enriched Air Nitrox or equivalent

• SSI Diver Stress & Rescue or equivalent

• SSI XR Cavern Diving or equivalent

• SSI XR CCR Diving or equivalent (if doing the course on CCR)

Course Components

• Knowledge Development with Written Exam

• SSI XR Water Fitness Evaluation

• Dry Skills Development

• Confined Water Skills Development

• 6 Overhead Training Dives

Course Equipment

• CE Approved CCR Unit (if doing the course on CCR)

• 1 Stage Cylinder with Regulator

• 1 Primary and 2 Back-up Light

• 1 Primary Reel per team

• 3 Spool/Reels, of which 1 with minimum 45 meters

• At least 2 Line Arrows
